i ordered a used driveshaft for my 240D and the only issue is it came in two pieces and the seller marked the long side with a grey marker but the top part of the driveshaft isn't marked at all.. is there a way to know how to correctly joint the driveshaft without having to guess? the top part of the driveshaft seems to have an indent so im assuming i'd line that part with the grey markings.

I have the WGen10500 and a 4 ton unit and it ran it without out a soft start. I also have a 50amp 6 gauge cord. In everyone's case below the factor is LRA/inrush amps on start up of the unit. You may have other loads in your house drawing amperage at the same time the AC unit is starting. A refrigerator freezer, electric water heater. The best thing to do is turn off breakers to all loads in your breaker box except your condensing unit and your indoor air handling unit. Then start the generator and try starting the AC via the Tstat in the house. Then slowly add loads once your ac it running. Wait for the AC to cycle on and off a few times before adding another load to the generator.

Well I tried to jump box to the power strip and well it was working however it started turning red and sparking on the back side of the generator where the electric motor is

I have a scorpion SC2500 and it had no power output. I checked the AFR and Brush and no issues. On the panel it has a Voltage indicator and in that there is a little black screw. I twist tgat a couple of times and boom, power output. Hope this helps someone.

Your industrial motor should not be that loud sounds like it's wearing out.

Sounds like you have problem with your inducer motor.

No need for a soft starter just install 50amp inlet and 6 gauge wire.

Yes I have mine hookup for 2 years now just run a 50amp inlet with a 6 gauge wire and your unit will work.
